Building on decades of research and practice, this updated handbook provides knowledge, innovative measures, and actionable solutions to reduce the ecological footprint of infrastructure and traffic. By incorporating nature-based solutions, it encourages actions to mitigate habitat fragmentation, enhance green infrastructure, and restore natural ecosystems.

Managed by Infra Eco Network Europe (IENE), the handbook builds on the first European guidelines published in 2003 through the Cost Action 341 project.
