Asia’s transport systems are growing fast, but so is the need to balance development with biodiversity conservation. The 3rd Asia Transportation Ecology Forum invites researchers, practitioners, and students to share insights on how ecological thinking can shape the future of transport. Building on two successful editions that drew nearly 600 participants from 37 countries, the 2025 forum will explore interdisciplinary approaches to wildlife mitigation, ecological restoration, pollution control, low-carbon infrastructure, public engagement, and more.
Key topics include:
Wildlife-transport conflict mitigation
Ecological restoration & invasive species control
Low-carbon and sustainable infrastructure
Environmental impact assessment & policy
Transport-related air and water pollution
Emerging technologies and public participation
