Connecting California's Wildlife: Bridging the Gaps
California, renowned for its biodiversity and a significant community of ecologists and wildlife biologists, confronts challenges in wildlife connectivity due to historical planning oversights. Habitat fragmentation and road mortality pose threats to native species. Recognizing this, bipartisan support has grown for policies and funding to enhance wildlife connectivity. The conference provides a platform to discuss strategies, share research, and collaborate on restoring wildlife connectivity across California.
ANET 2023
EIANZ and ANET are thrilled to bring you ANET 2023 which will be held at the Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre on 27 - 29 November 2023 in New Zealand
ANET is the premier event for ecologists, transport planners, regulators, construction and operation professionals, and the local community to engage on the interactions between transportation and ecology. The conference will include two days of technical presentations, posters, panels, workshops and trade displays, and a one-day field trip to Kaikoura.

ICOET 2023
Join us for the thirteenth biennial ICOET conference June 4th - 8th, 2023. The 2023 conference will combine in-person and virtual programming and training ("hybrid"). The in-person conference will be in Burlington, Vermont (US), while the virtual program will be offered through a virtual conferencing platform. ICOET is the foremost interdisciplinary, inter-agency supported conference addressing the broad range of ecological issues related to transportation systems in all modes.
International Urban Wildlife Conference 2023
The Wildlife Society Urban Wildlife Working Group's primary goal is to increase public awareness and appreciation of urban wildlife management issues and the decision making processes that promote urban wildlife conservation and mitigate human-wildlife conflict in urban settings. Working group membership is available to members of the The Wildlife Society. The Wildlife Society's mission is to represent and serve the professional community of scientists, managers, educators, technicians, planners, and others who work actively to study, manage, and conserve wildlife and habitats worldwide.
Apes & Linear Infrastructure Webinar
Join us for a free webinar on March 9 at 9:00 UTC (GMT), where presenters will share a variety of solutions to address the impacts of LI on great apes and gibbons, with an emphasis on collaboration. They will also discuss case studies highlighting the efficacy of canopy bridges and identify areas in need of further research. While this webinar is focused on apes, we encourage anyone with an interest in arboreal species or primates to come learn with us!
